Hinged or Sliding door Wardrobes?
When we design your new custom built in wardrobes, we offer a wide range of contemporary and traditional hinged or sliding door style options. For some clients, the choice of hinged doors versus sliding doors simply comes down to personal preference and style, while in some rooms the choice is dependent on the space available and access into the wardrobe.
Unfortunately we don't sell doors on their own.
Hinged Door Wardrobes
For larger rooms where space allows, hinged doors are a great solution as they maximise visibility and access into the wardrobe interior.
Unlike sliding doors, tracks don’t need to be installed along the floor to support the doors. This is beneficial for Queenslander style homes which predominately have wooden floors that can sometimes be uneven. This also frees up the wardrobe internals for more space.
Traditional recessed or routed style hinged doors blend perfectly in heritage and Queenslander style homes, while flat panel doors come in a wide range of colours and finishes to compliment more contemporary, modern homes.

Sliding Door Wardrobes
Sliding doors are a perfect solution for smaller bedrooms where space is limited. They open by sliding sideways which means other furnishings can sit closer to the wardrobe doors without restricting access into the robe.
These doors also come in a larger range of finishes and styles than hinged to suit both modern and traditional style homes including standard melamine in a selection of colours, white glass with a semi-frameless sliding system, mirrored or recessed and routered options.
